Comparison Shopping Sites are Popular Amongst Dutch Women

In the Netherlands, 40 percent of internet users accessed a comparison shopping site in May 2013. An extended demographic analysis of this category showed that Dutch women were 3 percent more likely to visit these sites (index of 103) than the average internet user.

The older and younger generations also differ in their likelihood to visit a comparison shopping site. People between the ages of 45 and 54 were 20 percent more likely (index of 120) to visit these sites than the average internet user, whilst those in the 15-24 year old category were 21 less likely to visit a comparison shopping site during May 2013.
