In France, 41.4 million visitors spent over 11.7 billion minutes on Social Networking sites in September 2011. This is an increase in time spent by 27 percent (2.5 billion minutes more) compared to last year. Nearly 33.7 million unique visitors spent 10.5 billion minutes on Facebook in September 2011, making it the top Social Networking site. Facebook accounts for 9 of every 10 minutes spent on Social Networking Sites during the month. Over the past year, the time users spent on Facebook has grown by 28 percent (2.3 billion minutes more) in France.
