LinkedIn Thrives Across All Markets

LinkedIn’s audience has grown across all markets when comparing data from March 2010 to March 2011. On a worldwide scale, the social networking site for business professionals has seen a growth of 65 percent, from 48 million users in March 2010 to 79 million as of March 2011. The site has shown the strongest growth in Latin America, with a staggering 240 percent increase in visitors, jumping from 1.7 million visitors in March 2010 to 5.8 million in March 2011. North America saw an increase of 37 percent and Europe 69 percent. Visitors from Asia Pacific increased by 132 percent and Middle East – Africa by 140 percent over the past year.
