A recent comScore press release examined shifts in U.S. consumers’ email behaviors. The study found that while web-based email has declined significantly in the past year, mobile email usage has surged. 70.1 million mobile users in the U.S. accessed email on their device in November 2010, an increase of 36% from the previous year, with daily mobile email usage up 40%, marking an apparent shift in how digital consumers communicate.
